A short story of creation from luzon?

A man named Moses introduced one story with two different beginnings and two very different endings. One begins in Gen 1:27 "God created man," and ends with the Apocalypse, "any universal or widespread destruction or disaster." Between that beginning and that horrible ending Jews, Muslims and Christians materialized, each with their own version of God.

The other beginning and ending is completely peaceful and Atheistic. Gen 2:7 "LORD God formed man," and ends with Apocalypse, "a lifting of the veil."

The fulcrum point in Moses' story on which these two opposing views teeter is found in 2Cr 3:15 "But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart."

Currently, those who believe in a God think of themselves as disconnected from their angry Elohiym or Allah, each seeing the other as evil Ps 7:11. This is Moses' international biblical chess game.

To reset Moses' chess board, we begin with Gen 2:7 "LORD God formed man." When Moses wrote the story he personified his characters as authors do. We will de-personify these characters or in biblical terms 'remove the leaven', which will reveal his peaceful Atheistic view.

The new playing field becomes your mind. It is no longer Elohiym vs. Allah. The good vs. evil are now your own opposing streams of thought in your bride chamber mind. Your dominant male mind is Eternity which Moses personified as the character LORD in his story. Your needy female mind is your human nature personified as God. With both mental opponents now in place a conjugal relationship occurs in your mind. When husband Eternity speaks through the mouth of wife humanity (regardless of your human gender) you become enabled to direct your human self around this little planet by Eternal remote control.

One example is Genesis chapter19. In this story of Lot and his virgin daughters, angels of the LORD came as men to Lot's house. The men of that city surrounded the house, banging on Lot's door and demanding to consummate a relationship with these visiting men. Lot exited the house and offered his two virgin daughters to the crowd to appease them rather than grant the mob their request to have a conjugal relationship with the visitors. The old chess board setting results in a fictional situation of deliberate child abuse and human homosexuality becomes labeled as a deplorable act.

Your bride chamber mind sees Lot's daughters as virgin Judaism and Christianity expecting the LORD to consummate them after end times. However, the male visitors have come to complete the conjugal relationship now, in the minds of those virgin religions. But the mob of religious fundamentals refuse to take their eyes off of their Elohiym and Jesus, long enough to look inside the bride chamber of their own thoughts to lift the veil and consummate immediately. So they continue to bang on the doors of their synagogs and churches by praying to their disconnected God. In conclusion, the true homosexual in the waiting bride chamber is the lone human mind, void of her male soul mate mind 'Eternity', who is just waiting to consummate your thoughts so you can be 'born again' as a perfect child. Lot exited his house (mind) to speak, simply because one cannot enter another's mind.

This concept is consistent in every verse and parable in the Bible without exception. Mal 2:16 "I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel." This divorce is between your male Eternal mind and your female material mind, perfect soul mates. Their separation is hated by the LORD God who are parents of both streams of thought. When you, the material human, divorce your spiritual Eternal husband mind, you are blaspheming your Holy Spirit.

Mar 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never hath forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: You were a perfect child with both minds naturally in your bride chamber. When you joined a religion, you abandoned that Spirit and entered an international game of battling Gods with Armageddon on the horizon.

You actually imprisoned your mind in the Stockholm Syndrome with your God as your captor. This perfect Atheistic view of the Bible completely deflates the leaven which has created opposing God's. ALL previous mystery is completely resolved. The Bible becomes the perfect spiritual guide which transforms you into Eternity away from the distant earth and its battling world of God followers as Paul described in 2Cr 12:2.

A story of creation from luzon?

The Creation Story from Luzon

When the world first began there was no land, but only the sea and the sky, and between them was a kite (a bird something like a hawk). One day the bird which had nowhere to light grew tired of flying about, so she stirred up the sea until it threw its waters against the sky. The sky, in order to restrain the sea, showered upon it many islands until it could no longer rise, but ran back and forth. Then the sky ordered the kite to light on one of the islands to build her nest, and to leave the sea and the sky in peace.

Now at this time the land breeze and the sea breeze were married, and they had a child which was a bamboo. One day when this bamboo was floating about on the water, it struck the feet of the kite which was on the beach. The bird, angry that anything should strike it, pecked at the bamboo, and out of one section came a man and from the other a woman.

Then the earthquake called on all the birds and fish to see what should be done with these two, and it was decided that they should marry. Many children were born to the couple, and from them came all the different races of people.

After a while the parents grew very tired of having so many idle and useless children around, and they wished to be rid of them, but they knew of no place to send them to. Time went on and the children became so numerous that the parents enjoyed no peace. One day, in desperation, the father seized a stick and began beating them on all sides.

This so frightened the children that they fled in different directions, seeking hidden rooms in the house -- some concealed themselves in the walls, some ran outside, while others hid in the fireplace, and several fled to the sea.

Now it happened that those who went into the hidden rooms of the house later became the chiefs of the islands; and those who concealed themselves in the walls became slaves. Those who ran outside were free men; and those who hid in the fireplace became Negroes; while those who fled to the sea were gone many years, and when their children came back they were the white people.

In a nutshell...

The Ifugao tribes of northern Luzon believed that the world was created by the Sun God during a cosmic war between the sky world and the underworld.

What are the seven creation of God?

On the first day, God created light, day and night.
On the second day, God created an expanse ("firmament") to separate the waters above from the waters below.
On the third day, God separated oceans and continents, and then created plants.
On the fourth day, God set the sun, moon and stars in the heavens.
On the fifth day, he created fish and birds.
On the sixth day, he created land animals, and then humans.
On the seventh day, God ceased from creating ("rested").

Note:

According to tradition, there is only one Genesis creation-narrative, with ch.2 serving as an expansion of the brevity of ch.1, not a separate set of events (Rashi commentary, Gen.2:8).The same literary devices which the Torah employs to enrich its text, have been seized upon by "Bible-critics" in their ongoing attempts to undermine it. The Jewish sages, based on ancient tradition, identified many of these devices, which include:

recapping earlier brief passages to elucidate,

employing different names of God to signify His various attributes,

using apparent changes or redundancies to allude to additional unstated details,

speaking in the vernacular that was current during each era,

and many more. While Judaism has always seen the Torah as an intricate tapestry that nonetheless had one Divine source, some modern authors such as Wellhausen (the father of modern Biblical-criticism, 1844-1918) have suggested artificially chopping up the narrative and attributing it to various authors, despite the Torah's explicit statement as to its provenance (Exodus 24:12, Deuteronomy 31:24). This need not concern believers, since his claims have been debunked one by one, as archaeology and other disciplines have demonstrated the integrity of the Torah. No fragments have ever been found that would support his Documentary Hypothesis, which remains nothing more than an arbitrary claim, whose falsehood has been pointed out:

The Difference Between

What is the difference between theism and deism?

Theism is a belief in a God or gods, who created and now control the universe and usually intercede in human affairs. When used in relationship with deism, it usually refers to the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam).

The concept of deism arose during the Enlightenment as a minimalist interpretation of Christianity, as attempts were made to establish a rational basis for faith. Because the concept of a God who intervenes in human affairs seems unsupportable, the notion developed of a creator God who, having created the world, took no further part in world affairs. Deism is thus a form of monotheism in which any notion of special revelation is impossible, and the nature of the god can only be known through reason and observation from nature. A deist rejects the miraculous and the claim to knowledge made for religious groups and texts.

Several of the Founding Fathers of the United States appear to have been deists.

How do you know if you have a god sister or not?

Answer 1I suppose if your godparents have kids, then you do. My friend is getting baptised, and she's having my neighbor be her godmother and we're going to have the pastor let me be her other "godparent", but as her god sister. Answer 2
  • God; the Creator; is one and only one God with no partner, no son, no sister, no father, no companion, no associate, and no equivalence.
  • If God; the Creator; has a partner; whoever sister or father or son; There would be no stability in our world and the Gods sure would fight against each other to end with one and only one God.
  • However, per English language, God sister is:
    • if a person's godmother/godfather has a daughter, they would be their god sister
    • when two girls feel spiritually connected and believe god brought them together as best friends. They are god sisters.

How did God create people?

If indeed God created people, we have two explanations in the Book of Genesis, from which we can choose the one we like the most.

In the first creation account in Genesis, at verses 1:1-2:4a, God created everything in just six days, by simply speaking them into existence, and then rested on the seventh. He created man (both male and female) last of all, simply by saying "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." And then he blessed them. Appropriately for this account, God is referred to in the Hebrew text as El Shaddai ('God Almighty).

In the second creation account in Genesis, at verses 2:4b-25, God created a man (Adam) first and and then a woman (Eve) some time later. In this, more primitive creation story, God's powers are more limited, and he can not make living things out of nothing. He makes Adam out of moist earth and breathed into his nostrils to bring him to life. Then he made each of the animals by forming them out of moist earth. Eve was special, because God took a rib from Adam's side and used this to create her.

Why shouldn't creationism be taught in public schools?

There are two questions here, one explicit and one implicit:

The first addresses whether the concept of creationism should be taught in public schools in some class.

The second concerns whether or not creationism should be taught in a science class.

The answer to either has NOTHING to do with the theory of evolution.

Let's address the second question first, because it's the easiest to answer.

Creationism absolutely should never be taught in a science class. The reason has nothing to do with the subject matter; it has to do with Creationism not being a scientific theory. In order for an idea to be science (and consequently, have a scientific theory constructed around it), it must follow certain rules: there must be experimentally verifiable assertions made, and the theory as a whole must be constructed using these (testable) assertions combined with the reproducible experimental data. That is, science consists of making an assertion that can be proven FALSE, and then making a sufficient amount of tests to either prove that assertion false, or increase the confidence that the assertion is true (as a scientific theory is based on a preponderance of evidence, and cannot be shown "true" in the same way a mathematical proof can be).

Creationism cannot produce these testable conditions. There is no test that can be run to show whether there is a God (or Intelligent Designer) or not - that is, Creationism is rooted in faith (a form of, by definition, baseless belief), which cannot be used in science. Thus, Creationism is a form of faith/religion, not a scientific theory, and cannot be taught in a science class. You can't teach Philosophy in Science class.

The first (explicit) interpretation of the question is more tricky, as it concerns the content of Creationism as a belief system. Creationism is inherently a Christian faith system; while it is possible to structure Creationism as some form of general monotheistic belief, the literature and supporting movements of the system are derived (and almost exclusively practiced) by those of a Christian faith.

As a form of religious faith, teaching such a subject in a public school - which has a duty as a government-sponsored institution not to promote one religion over others - can be tricky.

Legally speaking, it is possible to teach Creationism in a class where the context is sociology and/or philosophy, and where the discussion and study is not "accept this as true", but more "analyze what this says and why, and look at the roots of where it came from." It would NOT be possible to teach this in any way which endorsed Creationism as "truth" or which judged people according to their adherence to its tenants, because in both situations, it would be the school (aka government) promoting the views of a specific religion over those of others not of that religion.

Thus, it could be entirely appropriate to discuss Creationism in a Comparative Religions class, or Western Philosophy class, or even a Sociology class. It might even be possible to be taught to younger kids in a Social Studies class. That is, you could "teach" Creationism in the same way you would "teach" Shakespeare or Ayn Rand. The prime point is that Creationism cannot be presented as accepted fact, or as supported by fact.

Whether or not it would be beneficial to students that such a subject be taught is left up to your local community to decide.

Is everything of one consciousness?

I would say everything is of one 'sub-consciousness' and that those who embrace spiritual oneness hope for one consciousness to see the light of day.

===================================================

That is an outstanding answer, I totally agree. But it is almost impossible for people involved in a religion to take their eyes off of their individual God, to understand that. 'The Lost Rivers Out of Eden' by Mike Kusiak, takes the Holy Bible and shows the reader the spiritual side of it which makes the Holy Bible the most inspirational book in the world. It begins by separating the sub-conscious from the conscious minds of the reader. A guide takes the sub-conscious mind on a journey and leaves the conscious mind behind to turn the pages and read the book.

It is a fascinating journey where ALL of the previously mysterious verses and parables in the Bible become completely clear. Actually the 'mark of Cain' and the '666' appear before your very eyes which makes the entire Bible transparent, it's a great book which if read by enough people will end the Mid east wars forever, end all addictive behavior and all of the current problems which face mankind. It is truly worth reading. It's cheap on amazon.com.

What is the setting of the story of the creation from Luzon?

It is basically Filipino mythology and folklore involving collections of tales and superstitions about magical creatures and figures. It originally was influenced by Hinduism, but supposedly became Christianized. Since it retains stories about multiple gods, it doesn't fit the description of true Christianity.

The stories involved are not Biblical, involving three gods, who originally didn't know each other. As they met, they rivaled each other, one was slain, the other died of illness. Bathala, the caretaker of the earth, thus became the supreme god, who decided to create creatures he wanted with him on the earth, which already existed. Much of the legend revolves around the coconut tree, which purportedly sprang from the common grave of the two dead gods.

When did the concept of family start?

When Adam and Eve began having children, the concept of family was started.

Genesis 4

1And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

2And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Actually the concept of family existed within the Godhead. The family is a representation of the Godhead. The Godhead unites in actions and collaboration to produce LOVE which is the existence of all things, visible and invisible. God's intention was for the invisible LOVE phenomenon to be paralleled into a physical world, but unfortunately conditional love born after the separation of man and God has pretty much done away with this parallel. Man, woman and God was to be united as a family to produce LOVE in a physical manifestation through children. How ironic is that some parents torture the product of God's LOVE and some even kill their children. It is why God never intended for selfish unities such as one night stands, homosexuality and other selfish perversions that are supposed to represent His LOVE and character but man has distorted into his own perverse and selfish imagination because he has freedom to do so! Hope this helps.

Why is creationism considered pseudoscience?

Like any other field, Creationism can be pursued properly or improperly. "Improperly" would include sloppy work, jumping to conclusions, or letting emotions cloud one's clarity.

The same potential problems also pertain to Evolution.

If pursued in a rigorously scientific manner (peer-review, ability to duplicate results, etc.), then the same (alleged) non-biased treatment that is given to Evolution should be accorded to results, or thoughts, or findings, that do not fit the Evolutionary paradigm. Science has advanced only because of paradigm-breakers, such as particle physics and the possibility of manned flight (once deemed absurd).

Creationism is, a priori, labeled as pseudoscience by those who are against it. It's a value-judgment, which is just an offshoot of the wider paradigm.

What have you learned about the creation story and what message is God trying to teach us in this account?

There is more to Genesis than meets the eyes of readers. It has been said that you could study Genesis for an entire lifetime and not make much of a dent into its complete meaning. That is where faith plays its part. There appears more than one Creation account (original physical creation alluded to in Genesis 1:1), however short the verse in Genesis 1:2 is speaking of the renewal of the face of the Earth for mankind - see Psalm 104:30, etals).

The book of Genesis is an historical account, not an allegory. Its accuracy is assured by the inspirational guidance of the Holy Spirit. God is reveiling His plan for mankind by creating us in His image and likeness - after the God kind. This plan is further revealed in the subsequent writings coming to its physical end in Revelation. It shows us our great honor to be created in such a way. But in order for us to share in this awesome future, man must demonstrate our willingness to follow God's commands like He gave to Adam in Genesis 2:16.

Complicating reader understanding of the Creation account, one must realize that there are differences in language translations and there were no grammatical breaks in the Hebrew or chapter breaks until much later on in the history of man. This causes some problems in getting the full message of the text. Also, the oldest surviving text have unique items at the ending of certain verses that seem to indicate the original writer. Lastly, some terms like the Hebrew word for the phrase, 'these are the generations of the heavens and the earth' in now Chapter 2 are overlooked in there truer meaning of a family genealogy type of intro. These last two points were not fully considered when previous 'theories' were presented.

Perhaps its details are best explained by this modified tablet theory, which offers a more satisfactory explanation of all the details, and doesn't violate any known fact. It's in good accord with Scripture, and adds the authenticity that Genesis was composed of eye-witness accounts - ie... The Word God, Adam, Shem, Abraham, etc until it was ready for compilation by Moses around circa 1440 BC in vellum. As for the first 5 books of the Bible, t is tradition to ascribe Moses to them as he was the probable 1st compiler. This makes sense to me, however, we would do well to simply believe the exact teaching of the Bible, just as God inspired it. To do otherwise is an insult to its true Author, our Creator God.

If scientists believe the big bang theory is true then wouldn't that technically make them a hypocrite if they don't believe in god because if you think about it the big bang theory is creationism?

From another source as God is narrowly defined. Depends on your point of veiw.

______________________________

Scientists do not, in general, "believe" that theories are "true". Belief is for faith, for religions. Scientists accept that a particular theory adequately explains the facts and evidence that we have acquired so far, and look for other tests that will either confirm or refute the theory.

We don't "believe" in the big bang theory; we accept that it is, so far, an incomplete explanation of how the universe came to be. When other facts are discovered that contradict it, then the "big bang theory" will be modified or replaced by another hypothesis that does a better job of explaining all of the existing and new facts.

People who remain committed to accepting their pretty theories in the face of facts to the contrary are not really scientists, no matter what they claim.

'Creationism' by definition is that things were created by a supernatural entity. 'Big Bang' theorists don't usually claim there was anything supernatural involved, let alone an intelligent force driving it, and also the things being created are not complex organisms, but the most basic building blocks of matter. That means that's it's not hypocritical to believe in one but not the other. However people can also believe in both, that the Big Bang was the way their creator chose to create the universe.
