Density falls as temperature rises, but increases as salinity rises.

The only real effect on a diver is that of cold; unless you dive through a halocline (sudden boundary with much more or less salty water), which may affect your buoyancy.

I've seen a photograph of a rather impressive halocline in a cave in which incoming fresh water from inland flowed onto sea-water. The diver was standing with his waist just below the boundary, and the optical effect of the halocline made him appear to be standing with his upper body in air. In fact the passage was filled completely with water!

Does density effect the temperature of liquids?

Yes it does affect, the denser the substance is, the lesser the temperature needed for it to be frozen . Hence . Density of a substance is indirectly propotional to the temperature it needs to be frozen.

What has a effect on water density?

Density of a liquid is indirectly proportional to the temperature. When the temperature raises, the density of the liquid decreases. Therefor the temperature has an effect on water density.

What are biotic factors of the gulf of Mexico?

Three abiotic factors that affect the Gulf of Mexico are: Its salinity, it's dissolved oxygen content and finally the temperature of the water. All three of these will have an impact on the Gulf of Mexico.

What are two weather conditions that affect the atmosphere?

Two weather conditions that affect the atmosphere are temperature and humidity. Temperature influences the density of air and determines the type of precipitation that occurs, while humidity plays a role in the formation of clouds and the likelihood of precipitation. Both of these factors have a significant impact on the overall composition and behavior of the atmosphere.

What is water stratification?

Water stratification is the layering of water with different temperatures and densities in natural water bodies, such as lakes and oceans. This layering can occur due to differences in temperature, salinity, and density, which can create distinct layers that do not mix easily. Water stratification can impact nutrient distribution, oxygen levels, and the overall health of aquatic ecosystems.

What has the most impact on the speed of sound in seawater?

Any factor which alters the density of the sea water causes a variation in the velocity of sound in seawater. Basically, changes in temperature and salinity will result in changes in density. This can cause large changes in velocity. For example, seawater in the carribean with a temperature of 20C and a salinity of 37ppt might result in a velocity of, say, 1530m/s, whereas seawater in the north sea with a temperature of 3C and a salinity of, say, 31ppt, would result in a velocity of, say, 1480m/s.

What is the density of hips?

How do we affect the Atlantic ocean?

i think your words are flipped. You may mean "How does the Atlantic ocean affect the climate?" If that is your question, the ocean currents have a major impact on the climate of some countries because the temperature of the ocean current can affect the surrounding regions. You should look into ocean currents.

Are half lives affected by temperature?

In general, temperature does not affect the half-life of a substance, as it is a characteristic property of the material itself. However, extreme conditions such as very high temperatures can potentially alter chemical reactions and impact half-life.

How does temperature of the room affect human behavIOr?

The temperature of a room can impact human behavior by affecting our comfort levels and mood. For example, extreme heat or cold can lead to irritability, reduced productivity, and difficulty concentrating. Additionally, temperature can also affect our sleep patterns and overall well-being.

Does impact means the same as affect?

Yes.
