Most HPTs work with 99% accuracy OF THEY ARE USED CORRECTLY. Your friend may have used them too early in her pregnancy or not used an early moring urine. If she WAS using them correctly perhaps she just came across a bad batch.
If your pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant unless it happened very recently.
It is possible you are pregnant but you may just have a "problem" so i recomend seeing a doctor or Vagina-cologist.
Most likely you are not pregnant. Although every woman is different, and some tests may not pick up your hormone level yet because possibly you aren't as far along as you think, if you are pregnant. See http://www.pregnancy-health-center.com/early-pregnancy-symptoms.html
some women do not even know they are pregnant until they go into labor. Mainly because their hpts came up negative or because their period showed up every month as normal. Though it is not a "true period" you can infact bleed around the time your period is due and be pregnant. As far as the milky fluid, It's possible. Only going to the doctor will prove other wise.
I bet you probably took the HPTs first thing in the morning with concentrated urine. Then you went to the doctor's office later and said "I think I'm pregnant" and the nurse said "just pee in this pot". That is why the hormone level was too low, because you had had a couple of cups of whatever you drink. If this is not the case then I apologise, but it sounds as if you are pregnant. HPTs are 99% accurate if positive.
HPTs will definitely pick up a pregnancy that late! Usually they will start testing positive 2-3 weeks after conception. I have heard that some women have extremely low HCGs and therefore it is 6 weeks before they show positive. If you are still showing negative, then pregnancy is not the answer - see a doctor! Please!
You should contact your doctor.
It is not considered abnormal for periods to be late without being pregnant so if the test are negative you probably are not pregnant. for some people just the stress of worry can be enough to cause this to happen. never the less it would probably be a good idea to get the advice of a doctor on this.
Yes, HCG is only in your body if you are pregnant, you could be either very early on, or you could be having a chemical pregnancy.
Yes, it is posible. Some HPTs can detect enough HCG hormone as early as 4 days before your missed period. It is rare to get a false positive. If you get a negative, don't assume you aren't pregnant - you could be pregnant and should test again if you miss your period. PS, I long cycle doesn't effect how acurate an HPT is.
100% Start thinking of baby names! Some medications (antibiotics especially) can render the pill useless and cause disruptions in your regular cycle causing a later than normal period but if you had two negative tests you should get a real test done by your doctor.
yes you may indeed be pregnant I suggest go to your doctor and tell him or her about what you have been feeling lately they will most likely perform another pregnancy test and an ultrasound to see what is going on hope everything works out for the best, Good Luck and God Bless!
