Hey used stone to build the castles.
Nope. That was the reasons that castles were built- to be hard to attack.
Castles don't attack they defend.
using weapons
to attack castles
Throw bombs at it
They are castles that people try to attack
They are castles that people try to attack
To attack castles that the enemies are trying to get into or destroy.
yes, motte and bailey castles were very easy to attack as they were made out of wood and could burn very easily. whereas if you were talking about stone keep castles which were pretty much like motte and bailey castles then it would take time to burn as they were made out of stone.
None of them! Castles throughout medieval Europe were periodically subjected to sieges, during which time the castle's defensive structures were under attack. They were constantly being torn down and rebuilt, expanded and improved, and people were constantly developing better defensive features for castles. Some castles were even torn down completely and rebuilt again, but none of them stayed the same throughout the whole period.
they changed to concentric casles so that enemies couldnt go underground and the whole castle would fall
because it got harder for people to protect their castles so they had to make it harder for others to attack
