=The evacuees lived with other people they didn't know in the countryside, basicly because they were young kids and couldn't live with their parents in the war. I am only a child but I think some brothers and sisters got split up.=
Most evacuees were very scared from being sent away from their parents and being separated from their siblings. They were either sent to the country side; where the Germans couldn't be bothered to bomb, or to other cities; which were so far away from all the "action". In short it was generally miserable and a bad experience or a surprise as their adopters were really nice and understanding.

Towns, farms and villages whose distruction had no strategic advantage to the enemy and were therefore less likely to be attacked.
you would be sent to the countryside but you don't know exactly where because there are a lot of county sides in England but you would probably be sent to somewhere like park street. hope this helped =]
Because the cities were being bombed by the Germans and so they were not safe there

The evacuees usually escaped from the large cities to the countryside and stayed their for the remainder of the war, and then they were re-united with the rest of their family.
To locations less likely to be attacked, usually the countryside or villages.

Yes some did so they could get deep into the countryside away from the main cities and the bombers.
If you are asking where children from the cities being bombed or likely to be bombed in WWII were evacuated to, then the answer is the countryside. We had a few cockney evacuees in my village. We treated them like aliens from Mars. no loser

With all the bombing in Britain in WW2 children were sent away. They were called evacuees. They were sent to live either with relatives in the countryside, or random people, away from all the major cities which were being bombed at this time.
Because the cities were being bombed by the Germans and so they were not safe there
Life was sad and scary because you might not be able to see your family any more.
