Germany and the United States were most affected by the Great Depression. The Depression hit after World War I due to the crash of the New York Stock Market in the US. Due to losing WWI, Germany had massive debts to pay off. It couldn't possibly pay off these debts, so the US loaned money to Germany. Well, due to the crash of the stock market, this affected Germany in the Great Depression more so than if the US never loaned money or invested in Germany.
