During the WWII Holocaust Jewish people were sent to death camps if they were found in a hiding place. At the death camps, they were made to work hard and were treated extremely cruelly by the Nazis. Little did they know that in the death camps, they were going to die.

The Nazis found many ways to slaughter them. If they were hiding in any specific room, they would shoot around the room and in between floorboards to save time instead of searching for them.

If a Jewish person was caught he/she and their helper (whether they were Jewish or not) could be hung on posts and suffered as passers-by noticed what consequences they would suffer if they helped Jewish people.

In the death camps, anything could happen. If the Nazis felt like it, they would order every person (man, women, even child) to line up against a pit that they would be shot into - and the Jewish did not even know what misfortune was in store for them.

Shooting into pits was commonly committed by the Nazis.

The Jewish could also be ordered to walk into a large room where they were made to strip their clothes and all "enter a shower". The doors were sealed tight so none of them could escape and a Nazi soldier would release a toxic gas into the room through the shower taps which would automatically kill every person inside. This was called "Gassing".

The Nazis would later burn the bodies together.

What the Nazis did to the Jewish during the WWII Holocaust was horrible. They were all used and mistreated just because that was what Hitler wanted.
