The history of Judaism can be found in the texts that make up the complete Jewish Bible, which is called the Tanach: Torah (Teachings), Nevi'im (Prophets), K'tuvim (Writings). The Christian Old Testament was based on the Tanach, however, it was altered to support the teachings of Christianity.
