They were murdered. Most sources say that they were suffocated by feather beds (pillows). However some other sources say that they were drowned in wine OR poisoned with a venomous potion.
Some sources also say that Miles Forest and John Dighton were the murders whereas others say that it was Sir James Tyrell.
Hope this helps,

2 princes (Richard and Edward) but Edward (the oldest son) was to young to be king so Richard the III declared them illegitimate and put them in the tower where they were seen less and less of and eventually died! the princes are Queen elizabeths sons!
Actually, historians are not really sure. They do know they were in bed and in the morning were not there. Just in the last few years bones were found in the tower that could be the princes.
why would Richard 3rd have the two princes murdered
The two princes names were: Richard Duke of York, and Edward Vth
if you mean the ones who were murdered, that would be prince edward and prince Richard the sons of edward IV
The tower became known as the Bloody Tower in the mid-16th century because it was believed to be the place where the two young Princes in the Tower were murdered by their uncle Richard, Duke of Gloucester.
He was a youth that "pretended" that he was one of the Princes in the Tower, who were supposedly murdered
Shakespeare did not write a play called "Princes in the Tower". He did write a play called Richard III in which a couple of princes were murdered in the Tower, as well as another one called King John in which another prince dies trying to escape his would-be murderer.
Some people think they see the ghosts of the two princes but it remains a mystery.
Although there is no absolute proof many historians believe that King Richard III was responsible for the deaths of the two princes in the Tower of London
Yes, he was, but not until after they had died. The 'princes in the tower' were Edward the IV's sons. Edward and Richard (the princes) had two biological uncles: George, Duke of Clarence, and Richard III. After the princes' deaths Henry Tudor married their older sister Elizabeth.
everyone
Until any remains are found, it is most likely that we will never know the fate of either him or his brother, King Edward V. However, there is almost no doubt that they were either murdered in the Tower of London, or died there from unknown causes.
He would have been brother in law - married Elizabeth of York sister of the Princes
