What series GeForce card? 7XXX (7600GT, 7900GT), 8xxxx (8600GT, 8800GT, 8800GTX), 9xxxx (9400GT, 9500GT, 9600GT/9600GSO, 9800GT/9800GTX), GTS250 (rebranded 9800GTX), GTXxxx (GTX 260, GTX 275, GTX 285, GTX 295)..?
It also depends on the resolution of your monitor and CPU speed.
If you have a monitor that is 17" (1024 x 768) or 19" (1280 x 1024) and at least an 8800GT, and a dual core processor, you will be fine.
MW2 will use the same graphics engine as COD4, but, it has been streamlined--recoded to be more efficient.
Look into a program called Riva Tuner (Google search it) and use it to overclock your graphics card a bit (YouTube has several video tutorials) for a performance boost.

You can but its going to be really bad and slow. I have the geforce 8600gt and it is sluggish. You'll have to make sure to have at least 2-3g ram and a good processor.

Yes it will work, I did it. Just make sure everything is on low.
As it was introduced by nVidia in early 2003, the GeForce 5200 will not play new games at satisfactory performance levels, if it is supported by a given game to begin with.
Give me more detail about your graphics card and processer
I think you can play it, but with all settings on the low/medium side. You can play'it...I Have a GeForce 6200 and I'm playing at High Details on 800x600 Screen Resolution.
No.System requirements state you need at least nVidia 7300GT or ATI Radeon X1600. But there are alternatives instead of getting a PCI-e GPU. You can save up for an X1650 which is an AGP card or perhaps the nVidia 6200GT though I recommend a 7950GT if you don't wanna play a PowerPoint slide.-Shadownicky.
