There really isn't an official end to the Star Wars trilogy since there are not only novels, but games and comic series of events that take place thousands of years before the Clone Wars and decades after the original trilogy film Return of the Jedi.
The list of the what-if Star Wars West End Games sourcebooks are: Boba Fett: Enemy of the Empire Coruscant Nights Tetralogy Empire and Rebellion Trilogy (including Heir to the Jedi) Kanan: The Last Padawan (EU version) River of Chaos Shadows of the Empire: Evolution The Black Fleet Crisis Trilogy The Corellian Trilogy The Dark Nest Trilogy The Hand of Thrawn Duology The New Rebellion Underworld: The Yavin Vassilika Vader's Quest X-Wing Rogue Squadron: The Rebel Opposition X-Wing Rogue Squadron: The Phantom Affair etc.

This question is hard to answer for a number of reasons.1) The Original Trilogy shows the struggle and strife that the Rebel Alliance goes through to end the oppression of the Galactic Empire. The Original Trilogy is the "original." It's the first that everyone grew up with. Most older adults would prefer them over the prequels.2) The prequels (Clone Wars) shows the rise of the Sith and the fall of the Jedi. It appeals more to younger audiences seeing as that it is what we grew up with. I was five when Episode I came out.3) Numerous adults have actually enjoyed the prequels. Mostly because the animated TV show ,The Clone Wars, is something that dads (and moms) can watch with their children and really connect with them. This allows for older fans to connect with the prequels, while also gives younger Star Wars fans the ability to learn about the Original Trilogy.4) Honestly, any Star Wars fan would love both the Original Trilogy and the Prequels (Episodes I, II, and III).
No, the Darth Maul story arc at the end of Season 4 was not the end of the series. The end of the series was the Season 5 finale; the 4-part story arc that centered around Ahsoka Tano
Never. Since the Star Wars timeline is constantly expanding, so far there isn't an end to the saga in sight
At the end of Episode VI the rebels are on the moon of Endor.
That was the climax of the Star Wars movie "The Empire Strikes Back". It occured at the end of the movie and was said by Darth Vader.
