Tilt the wiper arm up and away from the windshield. There is a two pronged tab you must pull out. This tab will hold the arms upright and away from the windshield. You may need a pair of needle nose to grab the tab. Now once the arm is locked up pull up firmly with two hands on the arm and it should come off. May take some wiggling and shimmying. NORMALLY THE WIPER ARM SHOULD POP OFF YOU MAY HAVE SPRAY LUBERCIANT ON THE ARM WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE WIPER MOTOR BECAUSE OF THE DIRT AND GREASE IT ACCUMULATES OVER THE YEARS - Ideally all windshield wipers are removed the same way. You have to remove the linkage from the wiper motor.
