It would really depend on how Mexico acquired such land.
If Mexico had won the Mexican-American War (1846 - 1848) it would have kept present-day California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, as well as parts of Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas. Some historians think Mexico would be a regional power, but not a superpower such as the United States; maybe something like Canada is today or Brazil within a few decades.
If you mean what if these lands revert to Mexico in the near future, maybe it would become the second or third largest economy in the world, after China and possibly the remaining United States; but again, most probably Mexico would be a regional power as historically speaking, it hasn't waged any wars of aggression.

hi
Mexico never had a "Manifest Destiny" belief.
us won the war with mexico
Both because it impoverished Mexico and enriched the US. It was a land grab of the first magnitude and a shameful moment in US History.
The title of the land that the US gained from Mexico from the war was known as the Mexican Cession. If you mean the chunk of land US bought from Mexico to build railroads that would be the Gadsden Purchase.
It was a secret telegram from Germany to Mexico, saying Mexico should go to war with the US and reclaim land lost from the Mexican-American War, and that Germany would help Mexico. It angered US that Germany was trying to hurt US so US declared war against Germany.
no. they got it by winning a war with Mexico. although in the end they did give Mexico money for it, i believe 15million.
Mexico and Canada.
The war with Mexico changed the US border and land holdings significantly. The US was advantaged as it acquired New Mexico to be part of United States.
Better off for everyone
