wat you do is u re install the sims 2 and then uninstall it first from the control panel and then delete the shortcut

Left click on any of your deskstop icons and select delete, an option to remove programs will come up, click on it and it will take you to a list of everything you have installed, search for Sims 2, once you have found it left click on it and chose uninstall.
Nope. One option, uninstall the game, and reinstall from scratch. Not a good solution, if you have a lot of custom stuff, I know.

you can assign shortcut key to application by right clicking and choose properties then under shortcut key assign something you will remember
