If just the autotrophs in the ocean disappeared most life on earth (including all humans) would be dead in less than a year. Current analysis of this was touched on in the movie Sahara, where toxic waste threatened the worlds oceans autotrophs that prediction was 6 months. The truth is most likely 12 to 18 months simply vulnerable species would die first reducing oxygen consumption. The flip side is: how much oxygen is needed for decomposition? The actual time line is pointless as for this is a positive feedback process that once initiated on a global scale would accelerate to a complete anoxic environment.
The composition of ice is H2O, and once it melts to water, its composition is ... H2O! So, no, the composition does not change.
A chemical change involve a change of composition.
Autotrophs create their own food (for example plants). These get eaten by primary consumers (herbivores) - which are then eaten by secondary consumers (carnivores). Therefore autotrophs are the original source of food for carnivores.
physical change
A physical change is different than a chemical change, because in a physical change, the composition of the matter did not change. While in a chemical change, the composition of the matter did change.SO basically, the composition of the matter does not change is the difference between a physical change and a chemical change.yes

The appearance of photosynthetic organisms
The atmosphere gos through many cycles and changes. The significant gases in our atmosphere have not changed substantially in the past several centuries. The primary gas is still Nitrogen, then Oxygen.
Burning fossil fuel releases carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas which is building up in the atmosphere.
The pressure and the temperature would go on increasing .
your question is... How did the Earth`s atmosphere change composotion to became today`s nitrogen and oxygen atmosphere? Answer: it happend with the help of solar untraviolet (uv) radiation, the very thing what we worry about now for its cancer-causing ability

The composition of the Earth's atmosphere (air) has changed over geological time. This change has been brought about by biological processes (life). The planets air is therefore part of the biosphere and any change in the air will be accompanied by biospheric changes.
Organisms that produce their own food are called autotrophs. All plants are autotrophs and use photosynthesis to create their food.
As the gases go higher in the atmosphere they start to compose or join together at some point which causes them to change since there is mixture of more than one gas, sometimes they form a different element when certain gases form
