A good science experiment for a child would be something that is simple to perform, safe, and teaches some fundamental principle. For example, to teach them about gravity you can small objects from a certain height or to teach them about temperature effects on gases you can fill a balloons with air and put one in a freezer and another in a warm location. There are plenty of simple experiments you can do to convey basic scientific principles, all that you need is your imagination and creativity and always remember to keep it safe!
