Well, actually you can't.
One could argue that there is The Bible or Koran, depending on what religion you are that proves that your religion is correct. However, when you go to a place to search of the definition of a certain religion, it always says the same things:
"a set of doctrines and beliefs that..."
In a sense, when it says belief, it is something you believe in, like Santa Claus almost. Also, if you look at what has come about, there are hundreds of religions. So, how can one truly know which one is right and which one is not. That is why it is impossible to prove the validity of a religion. You can prove it exists by stating it was founded at a certain date and some people in a region follow these ideas, doctrines, and beliefs, but you can't prove what that certain religion expresses such as afterlife or only one god is actually true or not.
