Anna in my sisters keeper is just a young girl trying to speak up for once. she has been a donor her whole life, that's the only life shes ever known. she is trying to be something other than just an afterthought. she was genetically altered to be Kate's exact match for transplants. i believe that she had a right to speak up and say what she believed. and people listened, and eventually, she got to pick the ending... she had decided until everything changed. not gonna spoil the ending!
