On my 2002 Rio there are two mounts: one up front on the driver's side kind of below the battery plate, and another sort of where the tranny meets the engine. I think there is a skid plate blocking it from view, but you can get a glimpse from the driver's side of engine compartment. Hope this helps. NOTE: The 2002 Rio is unique and not interchangeable with any other year.
There is a plate mounted to the driver's side front inner fenderwell.
It should be on a plate on the dash near the front window or on a plate on the driver's door.

Yes, I have one. But the motor mount plate had to be extended in the front (pieces were welded on to mount the plate to the existing mounts in the hull).
If it is like my 98, you need to jack up the driver side front wheel and remove the wheel. There is a plate in the fender well that needs to be removed and then you can get at the battery which sits in a tray in the front fender in front of the driver's side front tire.
A government issued personalized Licence plate just mounts in the same location as the plate it is replacing.

There are 2 motor mounts- one on each side of the engine. The trans/transfer case then also have a mounting on the big skid plate. If you look on each side of the engine toward the bottom, you should see the motor mounts. The driver's side is harder to see due to the intake/exhaust manifolds. There should be rubber mounts that the engine sits on.
In Virginia you do have a front license plate, but in Florida they do not.
Front Son is a Mexican Licence plate.
