2.3 L engine. Should come out from the bottom. For more room, remove the torsion bar plate.
You can get an A/c delete/bypass pulley whichi would be the easiest.
If you mean an AC - air conditioner compressor, definitely yes. Assuming that the drive belt is not an issue and the cars computer will allow it to senses the disconnection. You could if it was an air conditioner compressor but it would be hot!
Maybe a 4 cylinder and just reacting to the additional engine power draw of the air conditioner compressor noticable as compressor cycles on and off
It would be loud and annoying.
Usually the shaft seal is installed from inside the compressor housing and is not serviceable. You would need to replace the compressor.
This would indicate that the a/c compressor has locked up.....
start by checking a/c compressor.
The replacement of a compressor in a portable air conditioner can pose potential hazards and may lead to the permanent destruction of your portable air conditioner. I would recommend bringing your portable air conditioner to an appliance repair shop and hire someone who is appropriately equipped to repair air conditioners.
All automotive air conditioner compressors work by going on and off. That is how they control the temperature. If they are mostly off, they make it warmer. If they are mostly on, they make it colder. The fact that it is on an Impala has nothing to do with it. The fact that it is an automobile air conditioner compressor has everything to do with it. Something would be wrong if it was not going on and off.
Possibly a stuck relay
not enough freon or too much
either the compressor is going out or you dont have any free-on. check it soon other wise youll be paying alot for a new one
