This depends on the operating system you are using. In DOS, you'd use the copy command unless you are in a program, then in that case, you'd tell the program to save it there. In Windows, you'd drag and drop the file while out in Windows Explorer, or save it there from inside a program.

If the modern motherboads still support floppy disk drives, just connect the drive into the computer and start using the floppy disks.

Are you asking how you can send files which you've downloaded? If you are, then it's probably going to be easiest to just download the files again on whatever computer you wanted to send them to. If you can't find the download source, then there are a number of ways to send files. If the file is small enough, you can send it as an email attachment. This would work for sure if the file is less than a few MB. If the file size is not shown next to the file, you can check it by right clicking on the file and selecting properties. If it is not shown in the box that appears, you will need to click the tab that says "General" and it will show a file size. (this is if you are using windows) The file size will most likely be listed in kilobytes. 1000 kilobytes is one MB. If it is a little bit large you can try attaching it to an email anyway, and it may work. If the file is several MB, there are more options. If the location you want to send the file to is near you, it would be easiest to put the file on a USB flash drive then just plug that drive into the recipient computer. A flash drive should be big enough for any file you want to transfer.
