How would you simply define Hanna from Pretty Little Liars?

Unfortunately, there is nothing simple about Hanna (or any of the other characters in PLL for the most part). When Alison was alive (when the girls were in junior high) hanna was a sweet, girl, who over-ate, and for the most part was unpopular and a little dorky (which is great). After the Pretty Little Liars split, Hanna began going to extraordinary (bad) lengths to to become the queen bee. She became mean, she was bulimic/anorexic, smoked, and drank. She has always been insecure about her appearances, (one of the reasons for her eating disorders) therefore most of the time acting purely on impulse.
