There are two types of muscle fibers in your body. One is fast acting and for short duration and strength. These are the ones that you build up for bulk. The other are slower twitch and long acting. These are your endurance fibers. If you work them both properly you can increase both but if you do a lot of running you will probably develop more of the long acting fibers and not get too much bulk out of it all. Look at Armstrong. He has very little muscle mass in the upper trunk because of all of his type II muscle fibers. He does have some bulk in the legs though, because he uses them when he rides.
High reps is mostly associated with endurance, and not so much with bulk.
Depends a bit on how you ride. If all you do are short sprints, then you won't get much endurance out of that. But the most common style of road bike riding is mostly endurance training.
Cardio equipment is one of those things that can be used for working on two major things; speed and endurance. If your looking for speed, run short distances but go at your maximum speed every time, and if your looking for endurance improvement, run longer and at medium speed!
In lacrosse you dont need much of stick skill, but mostly endurance and strength.
Sure, but mostly various types of endurance races.
Speed in the context of running is defined as stride length + stride frequency. In EVERY event speed is used. an example is in the 400m run, in order to run a 48 second race you must be able to run or at least average 4- 12 second 100m. but this race is a combination of speed and endurance.
In the road, mostly running.
Mostly explanatory
Mostly your Quad muscles
running,walking,climbing, and balance mostly
it mostly determines the color of the leaf.
yes you can if you have unlevel feet mostly when you dont do a lot of running or if the ground is uneven
