This is a question about seeing yourself through others' eyes and also a question about self-appraisal. Are you able to describe yourself somewhat objectively? Or are you so wrapped up in your own point of view that you can't imagine how other people perceive you?

You don't really have to go ask your friend to describe you. You can use your imagination. But try to include a mixture of strengths and weaknesses without making yourself look bad.

For example, supposing your name is Lee, you wouldn't want to say that your friend might describe you this way: "Lee is a great guy, except that when he gets drunk he can be a real jerk." You might want to say that your friend would describe you this way: "Lee is a loyal friend, and great to hang out with, but sometimes he gets a little nervous in new situations."
