it would be enhanced by at least 10 times, probably more
All animals have different sensitivities of hearing. Different animals hear different sounds. Like a dog. A dog has one of the most sensitive hearing levels. That's what dog whistles were meant to do. They were supposed to make it so humans can't hear it but dogs can.
Boxers!They have really good hearing.
A dog has better hearing and memory than deers

I highly doubt it. It would take a ton of loud barking for that to happen. Dogs are made for barking.

this could start a debate, however, the Border Collie is supposed to have the best hearing and the most intellect, but every dog lover will tell you it is THEIR dog breed that is the cutest, smartest and has the best hearing and smell! Also the best looking!!!
I was wondering the same thing with my dog. Sad to say, but you cannot.
When you lose hearing with age there is little that can be done. There do not make hearing aids for dogs.
Yes of course they do, dog usually have good hearing. Well how else would they learn tricks.
There isn't a breed with "bad hearing", but some some breeds are prone to have hearing problems or deafness. These breeds are: Dalmatians, Bull terriers, and English setters. Because deafness can be in these breeds genes, it's particularly important to buy from a breeder that does genetic testing on their dogs, and not from pet stores. Any breed of dog with untreated ear infections can also lose their hearing, so it's important to have a dog treated promptly when you notice a problem.
A deaf dog may not be totally deaf, but merely hard of hearing. Even then it can feel sound vibrations if they are loud enough. In short a deaf dog would definitely know that it is barking.
