First gather anything from your childhood... pictures, toys, or just search online for things that remind you of your childhood (favorite childhood Cartoons, movies, games, activities, etc.). Memories should begin to fill-up your mind. Your favorite teacher, first pet, first best friend, first boy/girl-friend, first kiss, embarrassing moments, etc.
Next, think of a "funny story" or any story from your childhood, but try to be positive.
Now begin writing the story or stories as if you are telling someone seated right in front of you. Before you know it, you'll have much more than a paragraph.
