The hypothalamus in the brain detects changes in body temperatures. It can alter this in these ways.1-Vasodilation- small arterioles feeding capillaries near the skin surface dilate increasing the blood flow to the surface. This causes heat from the blood to radiate out of the body. 2- the sweat glands produce more sweat and the thermal energy is taken away with the sweat when it has been evaporated. 3- Hairs lie flat on the skin as the erector muscles relax. This means that an insulating layer of air isn't trapped so more heat is lost. As we are not that hairy this response is not that effective.
The human body depends on the evaporation of perspiration to cool itself in hot environments.
WATER
The human body depends upon sweating to cool itself in hot environments. The body opens its pores on the skin to release the water and salts, which would evaporate into the air.
water
Generally, it depends on sweat.
To maintain homeostasis, the human body may sweat to cool itself in hot environments.
