Human Resources is a term that refers to the workforce of a company. When broken down, Human (that's us!) and Resources (a quantifiable substance or collection of items used to create something else) defines as a collection of people working/used within a company.

Naturally, a Human Resources Manager handles the company's workforce. Their duties include wages, disciplinary instruction, hiring/terminating employees, employee benefits, unemployment concerns, employee training and in-services, among other duties.
