doubt that is a question that's written with correct grammar. I am not even sure if its a question or a statement. I suggest you rewrite it if you really want an accurate answer.
All i can say is that you do not need to discard any old knowledge or burn any books in order to live your life as a philosopher. In fact the more you read and the more questions you ask about everything you read the closer you will be to becoming a philosopher.
Renouncing some pleasure for the pleasure in the future is not that bad of an idea. Being a rationally thinking human being that possesses vast amounts of knowledge is pleasurable in itself. Not to mention the benefits of not being confused about the world and making better choices because of your knowledge. The more i learn the more pleasurable and useful it becomes.
