I'm 13 years old and i want to get involved in a paranormal group but they all say im too young what should i do?

Paranormal investigation requires the ability to travel freely around the world, not to mention a certain element of risk. If you are only 13 you can not fly commercially without your parents' written permission (I'm not sure they would want to let you go); you should not be missing school (and paranormal investigation doesn't just happen in the summer); you can not rent a car, pay for a motel room or legally be responsible for yourself.
As for the risks, no ethical group would allow a minor to put their health or spirit in jeopardy. And there isn't an insurance company on the planet that would cover you.
I recommend you wait a few years, continue to do research, read and study the field. If when you reach 18, you are still interested in the field you can start to find a group that has an opening. You may have to work casually (part-time) in the beginning, but eventually, with dedication and perseverance you may one day attain your goal.
