Here's the thing. Parents are going to have to get over the fact that it is your life and you are going to be turning 18 at some point in your life. And by then, they shouldn't be telling you what you can and can't do. They can give you advise but they shouldn't be controlling your life anymore. It's up to you to start making your own decisions and taking control of your actions. Maybe invite the bf/gf over and just ask your parents if you can hang out with friend at your house. Or maybe you guys can hang out at the mall or go see a movie with friends. The first thing you should do is make sure your parents trust the person your going to be with. Once you do that they will most likely slowly learn that they can't control who you want to see and who you want to be with. It's your life and you will have to be on your own sooner or later.

Hopefully you have a good relationship with your mother. If you do, I would suggest going to her and being honest about your dating an older guy. There are reasons why in most states this age difference is not allowed. Listen to what your mother have to say and try to express your feelings to her. Weigh the options and make a sound decision.
