YOu can get a debit card as long as you have a bank account attached to it. My 14 year old has a debit card (check card) and I deposit her allowance directly into her bank account. It is easier than giving her cash and she keeps up with her account balance so that she doesn't overdraw on her account. yes, im 13 and my dad is getting me a debit card from tuxedo at master card. you have to be 18 to get a credit card. the good things with debit cards is that you cant go overdrawn with them its much better than a credit card!
