In most cases a horse will already have a name, and therefore you should not change it, because it can confuse a horse and stress it out. If its young withpit a name, Stay away from Max, Sparky, Lady, Blaze and Mollie (way to common)
Added:
Most horses don't give a rats butt about their name. They care more that you feed it, brush it, clean up after it. A name should reflect your personality. interests and the horses personality. Avoid a name that is already in the barn you will stable at. Most registered horses have a registered/show name and a separate "barn" name. Most registries won't let you change a name after: 1. the horse has sired or produced a foal. 2. Won awards, ribbons or races. The barn name can always be changed. If you like to read, pick a literary figure you really like. If you love Sci-Fi movies, pick a character from a fav. movie. When starting a farm, it is a good idea to pick a "theme" and have horses named around that theme.
Whatever name you think suits it. look at some other horses that already have names and get some ideas from them

The name of Neptune's horse is Hippocampos. But the part of the brain you are thinking of must be the hypothalimous.
I think you may be thinking of "Gad Fly".
does any one know because im getting my horse tomorow
Andy, That was my old horses name!
No, u should use Captain Rex no actually skipper is a adorable name for a horse. :)
I have never heard of a 'forry' anything on a horse. I wonder if you are thinking about a 'forelock' with is the first part of the horse's mane that is between his ears and falls down the forhead between his eyes.
Are you thinking Eohippus? That is the prehistoric animal that evolved into a horse... See the related link below
jockey trainer equine vet uh... im thinking.. rancher farmer
It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks if you like it, but I have a horse and I think Koy Image would be a cool name. You could call the horse Koy for short. If you are buying a horse with no name, then choose what ever you want, but if not, then you should probably choose a name close to the current on so the horse doesn't get confused or have to learn another name. Another cool name if you are planning on showing the horse would be "Sky's The Limit", and you could call them Sky. You should do whatever you want, the sky is the limit for horse names. I don't think your horse would care what you called them anyways.
