If it's because you're not really comfortable with him yet, then wait and spend more time getting to know him before you kiss him. If it's just because you're nervous, then wait for a time when you're alone and completely comfortable and happy. Talk for a while first. Make sure he definitely likes you first as well. Try breaking the touch barrier by sitting closer to him or holding his hand or something. He will probably be nervous too. Don't be too afraid to make the first move.
