Providing it is a genuine accident, it will not matter about the relationship between the parties. In one case, I know of, the witness was also a relative !!

As always, the difficult part is trying to prove it is not a scam.

Will insurance pay if you have a wreck and get a DUI?

If the DUI was the cause of the wreck, probably not. You will need to check your policy to see what it says, since there are many options for insurance.

They may not if there is a clause in the insurance agreement that the insurance will not be paid out in the event that an unlicensed driver is in control

What happens if you wreck a car that you dont insure?

If the vehicle has insurance it will cover damage to the other vehicle but not the one you are driving. Now if you have insurance on another vehicle your insurance will cover the damage to the vehicle that you where driving even though it is not on your policy.

Will insurance pay for a wreck if you have no license or insurance?

If you don't have insurance then there will be no one to pay for an accident. If you are hit by someone who doesn't have insurance your own insurance policy may pay for damage to your vehicle as well as bodily injury within your policy or state limits

Does insurance cover personal property lost in a car wreck?

Depends. If you are at fault, the other insurance company has to cover property loss. Personal property loss is most likely an option (not basic coverage) on your policy.

If you get into a wreck while your license is suspended will it be covered in state of Texas?

Depends on the insurance policy. There might be a condition that any driver must be licensed for the insurance to be in effect. If it is your car and your insurance, you probably have a problem.

Is it necessary to keep our daughter on our vehicle insurance policy as a driver although she is now at college and will only drive the car 4 or 5 times per month-our premium doubles keeping her on?

Yes! Even though she might not be driving the car often at all,( let your insurance company know this, your premium might be cheaper) if a wreck should happen, she's not on the insurance, the ticket will serve as her at fault, with no insurance.

Who pays if you wreck your car?

If you wreck your car, then it is usually the insurance that pays for you ;)

What if you are in a car wreck with no insurance and the other driver is at fault?

Doesn't matter at all. You are required to have insurance and the fact that the other driver may be responsible does not protect you at all.

If you get into a wreck and you were the one in fault and the other person does not have insurance what will happen to them and will your insurance cover it?

Every state is different. Where I live, if you are the responsible party in the wreck then your insurance has to repair the vehicle that you hit. You will be responsible for paying your deductible to have your vehicle fixed. Also the driver without insurance will be ticketed by the authorities if they are present.

If your parents purchased a car for your 16-year-old daughter and registered it in their names how should the vehicle be insured in Virginia?

If they do not claim the teen driver on their insurance, then she gets into a wreck or otherwise gets gets the attention of the insurance company, the insurance company will terminate coverage and the parents will be required to get high risk insurance. They may also refuse to cover certain types of loss if the teen driver is not included in the policy. There is coverage for the kid that they pay and is discounted because the parents also have a policy with them. Liability is separated from the parents.
