I personally think so and I'm not sure if its a myth or not but I've heard it stunts your growth, my cousin has been drinking coffee since she was 10 (she's only 12 now) and she's like addicted to it and if she doesn't get any she throws a tantrum so I think it's a bad habit/addiction and you should start it when your older.

Back in the day, you had to be older for your family to allow you to drink coffee. But, it certainly isn't any worse than softdrinks, since there are no added chemicals. The cousin above has issues with behavior--coffee generally wakes you up, is all.
