Yes, bananas are slightly acidic, but not so much as Oranges or lemons. Depending on the specific variety of banana, the acidity varies from pH = 4.5 to about pH = 5.2.

Bananas contain ascorbic acid but not citric acid. Citric acid is found in citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, etc. See link below for more information.
Better Answer:
Yes. In fact, bananas contain much more citric acid than ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). A ripe banana contains 319 mg of citric acid -- that's 29 times the amount of the ascorbic acid in the banana! But the predominant organic acid in a banana is malic acid (425 mg).
For comparison, an orange has 4 times as much citric acid as a banana, but only half the malic acid.
the alkaline earth metals r strontium, radium, barium, magnesium, calcium, and i don't know the last one but i do agree that bananas are alkaline because they have calcium in them.
Yes, I believe so. They have alot of citric acid I think.
yes it is acidic
no
citric acid
Pulse rice chicken will certainly help with stomach acidity but fruit banana may cause an increase.
It can be quite good depending on individuals. Some prefer eating a banana alone or drinking milk alone during stomach acidity but a banana milk shake works better since a banana contains a component that acts like an alkaline base which helps dissolve or balance the acidity in the stomach and milk helps with the cooling effect. So if one takes milk alone it can work but for a short period only. Better when the two go together.
I will not suggest you go for it without milk, it can cause constipation, a feeling of empty stomach and I will debar a person who has acidity problem to have it.
An acidity function is the relationship between the acidity of a solution and the concentration of its solute.
An acidity function is the relationship between the acidity of a solution and the concentration of its solute.
The plural of acidity is acidities.
The acidity can be lowered by adding a base.
Titratable acidity & Total acidity in wine: Total acidity: proton equivalence of the amount of organic acid anions present in a wine. It is the number of protons + dissociation. Titratable acidity: number of protons recovered during a titration with a strong base to a specified endpoint. It can also be expressed as a molar quantity. Many people use titratable acidity and total acidity as synonyms, but they are not. The titratable acidity is always less than the total acidity, because not all of the hydrogen ions expected from the acids are found during the determination of titratable acidity. However, titratable acidity is easier to measure.
Acidity can usually be prevented by antacids.
no, it isn't. The acidity is a chemical change.
well first u banana then banana with a banana and banana the banana wont allow the banana to banana and so the banana goes home and bananas for a banana so wht if the banana doesnt banana he bananas for a banana how do you banana?you dont banana you just banana you little banana
it burns through you if its a high enough acidity
