iPad once used to be the thinnest tablet with its 8.8mm thickness. But today that history has changed with the announcement of Toshiba's new tablet. The model name is not yet as the company plans to reveal it at CES 2012. Toshiba's newly announced tablet beats the iPad with its 7.7mm thickness. Check out more very interesting CES entries and Toshiba Tablet at etechmag.com. It is a wonderful site that I discovered just a month ago.

After spending tons of time trying to find instructions from Toshiba or the internet, I finally figured it out. The tip just pulls out. You can do it with a pair of pliers or tweasers or whatever. It is simply a friction fit. You can then put a new tip back in the pen and push it into place. When you get your new tablet, you get 5 or 6 replacement tips and a little ring. It turns out the ring is a simple tool for removing your tips, and works like tweasers. Very simple very easy. It would be nice if Toshiba posted instructions for this operation.
