Not that I would condone it but I have done it many times without any ill sides effects.
No. Cannabis has never killed anyone in any form if consuming it for more than 2,700 years. Cancer patients who don't want to smoke cannabis have it cooked into foods for them to eat instead. Eating it raw would be unpleasant and probably wouldn't have much effects.

Second-hand marijuana smoke can leave traces of the chemical tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in your urine for a day or so after breathing the smoke, but the smoke would have to be so thick that it would irritate the eyes of smokers and passive smoke breathers alike.

Cannabis. Some other substances may cause false positives on an initial screening, but a subsequent retesting should distinguish between these and actual cannabis use, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about... unless what you were worried about was trying to claim that you didn't smoke marijuana when in fact you do.
Cannabinoids, the metabolites of cannabis, remain in the system for a long time. It is very likely that they would remain in the system for that long, especially if you smoke moderate amounts or more.

A doctor has to write out a prescription of medicinal Cannabis and that would mean that the drug is legal to take. If she is on Cannabis and getting it illegally then her doctor may not know. Take her to your family doctor and go with her and tell the doctor what is going on. Be sure your wife is not in pain. If she is not then discuss this with your family doctor and if he has not given her a prescription for Cannabis then it's illegal. To get your wife to stop you could tell her you will report her to the police, or, if she is fine on the Cannabis and you have no children to put at risk should she be found out and arrested then let her smoke it.Congratulate her on her ingenuity, and share in the bounty.
