Im 37 weeks pregnant and getiing lower backache and pain in stomach and keep going to the toilet just wondered if if could be the start of labor?

First let me start off by saying congrats your almost done! I'm also 30 weeks pregnant and feeling the same why you are. Concerned I went to my DOC and he told me that it is normal to feel "morning sickness" in the last weeks of your pregnancy and also Back pain is very common. Unless you are having tightening in the tummy, you lost your plug, and start having real contractions, nothing to worry about honey! Make sure not to confuse labor pains with gas pains. My sister did that and by the time she got to the hospital she had my nephew within 20 mins! Good Luck and take it easy!

∙ 15y agoThis happened to me before my water broke with baby #1. A lot of pressure in the lower abdomin like I was going to wet myself, and I kept peeing but nothing happened. Then 'pop'! Water broke and baby was on the way. Or it could also be that baby is making dropping in preparation for birth and settling further down into the pelvis. Either way, it just sounds like your little one and your body is gettin ready for the big day even if its not immediate!

∙ 15y agoI had this happen with my first child at exactly 37 weeks & it was the start of labor. Contact your OB/Gyn or midwife ASAP & they will tell you what to do. Mine told me to head to Labor & Delivery. Good luck!
