- If you are just a cross dresser in private and you are not gay (most cross dressers are not gay) then you should discuss this with your mother and out of respect for what she wants and the bride and groom you should go as a man in a suit or sports jacket and slacks. 'Coming out at a wedding is not the best timing on your part as you do not want to take the attention away from the bride and groom should they or guests be shocked. However, if it's important to you and your mom; bride and groom agrees then wear a woman's pant suit with a nice blouse either female flat shoes or a Cuban heel. This way you are 'coming out' but in a more subdued way.
