If you arrive at jfk terminal 3 from lhr with delta will you have to go through security again for your connection from terminal 2 to roc also with delta?

If you have one ticket all the way through, and your baggage is checked in to go to your final destination, then you won't have to go through security or check-in again, but there is passport control, as it's your first stop in the USA, but you'll go through the domestic transit channel. If it's a separate ticket, then you have to go through baggage claim, and transfer to the other terminal and check in again.

Will fishhooks go through airport security?

Most fish hooks will appear through airport security screening. It is most advisable to secure them in your checked baggage. Even though the smallest pen-knives are now permissible to travel with passengers, there still remains the possibility of forfeiture, depending on your airport's location, and occasionally the sheer whim of the security officer.

Can you take needle and thread on an airplane?

http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/assistant/editorial_1252.shtm= Transporting Knitting Needles & Needlepoint = Traveling with Special Items Knitting needles are permitted in your carry-on baggage or checked baggage. However, there is a possibility that the needles can be perceived as a possible weapon by one of our Security Officers. Our Security Officers have the authority to determine if an item could be used as a weapon and may not allow said item to pass through security. We recommend the following when bring knitting needles on an airplane: * Circular knitting needles are recommended to be less than 31 inches in total length * We recommend that the needles be made of bamboo or plastic (Not Metal) * Scissors must have blunt points * In case a Security Officer does not allow your knitting tools through security it is recommended that you carry a self addressed envelope so that you can mail your tools back to yourself as opposed to surrendering them at the security check point. Most of the items needed to pursue a Needlepoint project are permitted in your carry-on baggage or checked baggage with the exception of circular thread cutters or any cutter with a blade contained inside. These items cannot be taken through a security checkpoint. They must go in your checked baggage.

Does a London travel-card cover the rail link from heathrow to London city center?

London Underground serves Heathrow Airport from three different stations: Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3; Heathrow Terminal 4 and Heathrow Terminal 5. These stations are all on the Piccadilly line which runs through Central London. However, the travel-card does not cover you to travel on Heathrow Express which I believe is what you are referring to.
