I am having trouble with putting a tampon in i have a normal flow i guess but i hate pads because u jus sit in your mess all day EWW Any tips to easily put a tampon in?

Check out the related link. Putting on a tampon can be tricky. Maybe ask a trusted female to direct you (standing outside the door/stall) such as a teacher, friend, etc.

If you cannot feel your tampon, it is in correctly! Also, ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE AND AFTER INSERTING A TAMPON. Failing to do so can result in infection.

As for pads, changing regularly can help. (it can also be costly) Diva-cups are similar to tampons, but are reusable so it's obviously a money-saver.

If you use tampons then you still have to use pads - tampons cannot be used before your period, with light flow, overnight, if you have a vaginal infection, and you need to alternate with pads. If you hate pads it may be the type of pads that you're using so consider cloth pads. Also consider options like menstrual cups or softcups which are safer than tampons so no need to use pads at all.

When it comes to tampon use make sure you're using lowest absorbency for your flow, ideally cotton tampons rather than rayon, and opt for non-applicator which give better control so easier to use. Try masturbating before insertion as when aroused your vagina relaxes, lubricates, opens, and increases in size so make insertion easier. You can also knowingly relax your vaginal muscles and use lubrication.
