Why not? They'll never catch ya!
Just go to the court and marry a U.S. citizen. Their may be a 90 day waiting period before the marriage is legalized.
ask from GOD
You don't have to be a UK citizen to marry a UK citizen. However, you won't automatically be given the right to live in the UK just because you have married a UK citizen.
of course it is legal!! peeps can marry who they want 2! (honestly this s just what i think)
It is not possible to become a Canadian Citizen just by marrying a Canadian citizen. Citizenship cannot be acquired by marriage in any country.
my wish is to one day live in the US but i wouldn't Marry and American just to become a citizen as much as i mite want to. I have morals.
do n/ot under question. are you making reference to the father of the child or to the child? if you are making reference to the father, who apparrently is not a u.s. citizen, the mother, who is a u.s. citizen, can apply to immigration and apply for her husband to come to the u.s. legally. should the father of child already be here legally, then he must apply for u.s. citizenship. the child is a u.s. citizen by virtue of mom being a citizen. good luck..just go to immigration office or if you have a computer, crank in bcis, u.s. government and you will find all types of answers...
You may have to marry her/him but not actually marry her/him meaning that you do everything a married couple would do and just not marry her/him.
No, they were never a citizen; marriage to a US citizen does not automatically make you a citizen. Marriage to a US citizen allows you the a reason to apply citizenship; of which the test is a part of the process. The USA citizenship test is only one of the steps to becoming a citizen; it does not grant you citizenship if you pass it. You still have to apply for citizenship and get through the process. If you want to become a citizen and have been married and never applied for citizenship, then all you have to do now is apply. There is no requirement for you to become a citizen, just because you are married to a citizen. You never have to apply if you don't want to become a citizen. No one will force you to become a citizen just because you are married to a citizen; it is totally a voluntary process. So, if you are concerned that you've been married for 25 years or whatever and you never bothered to apply for citizenship, and now you've decidecd you want to become a citizen, don't worry there is no penalty to wating this long. it has no barring upon your status; its not illegal or anything.
Not immediately. In order to marry a foreigner and bring them back to the states you have to apply for a visa for them. Fill out a ton of paperwork and then pay all the fees. If you are already in Poland, just go to the consulate and they can give you all you need, or if in the military go to the personnel office they can provide a lot of help.
-------Well, I'm already married so it would seem that if I'm married it doesn't make a difference if she can work here or not...However, it makes no difference whether or not you're married or not for her to legally work here - she could always become a Naturalized U.S. Citizen. Remember that British subjects can maintain dual-citizenship status between the countries. It really depends on the long term - if you're asking because you feel pressured or just don't want to marry her, then there are other legal ways for her to work here without being a U.S. Citizen or married to one.The key thing she needs to work here is a Social Security Number, and she can't get that unless she's applied for a green card. After getting that, she can get a work permit, then apply for an SSN.If you want to marry her, you can bring her with on a fiance' visa, then she can apply for a work permit when you arrive, then apply for an SSN.Again, it depends on your long term plans as to which avenue to take. Given the state of relations between Britain and the U.S. it's pretty easy for British subjects to visit and work here given the recognition of dual-citizenship.(RAVEN)
from my own knowledge it depends on the persons religion, in some religions you just marry someone from the same religion, but if this does not applt to you then , yes there are no laws against it
