I am the only girl in our year who has dated two boys and other girls dont like me because they think I am just going to be a bad person when I get older and the fact that I am dating 1 of them now?

Um I don't really know what you're asking here but I'll try and I think that they have no right to say that about you. You can be anything you want to be and I'm exactly like you this year. I dated 2 guys and now I'm dating someone else. Everyone thinks I'm a bad person and "easy"! You're not. You can't help that you like boys either, but if you only have dated 2 boys you're not what they say you are and I'm an 8th grader and I've dated 12 guys but I guess they have a right to call me all the stuff they do but don't let it bother you. You can't change you. I'm here for you and can I ask you how old are you?

Whether they are justified in thinking you are doing something wrong depends on how old you are and what you mean by "dating". If you mean you are going to parties, hanging out with boys, and even doing some kissing - they are just being mean. Dating is a way of getting to know others and you have no reason to stick to only dating one person until you are engaged.

On the other hand if by "dating" you mean you are having sex with them - well - maybe they have a point - especially if you are still quite young. Getting started with sex before everyone else generally means you got started too soon and were not really prepared for the responsibility that goes with that kind of intimacy. You may feel grown up but it takes some time and maturity to understand that sex is part of the power to create another human being. That's a pretty serious matter. If you are not old enough to take responsibility for that possibility you are not old enough to be having sex.
