There are many things that can cause a computer to be slow. I will list suggestions. First of course perform a clean up, uninstall unknown programs, disable start up programs, perform a disc defragmintation. open the command console and run msconfig, click the start up tab, uncheck everything you don't need to start up. then restart. Next you can try "ready boost" Get a readyboost ready flash drive and when you plug it in the option will appear. You should dedicate the entire drive for readyboost. Last, i belive that thing has a slow but large harddrive. if it is less that 7,200 RPM then that can couse alot to be slow. Its not always the processer. An I5 should not be slow unless your running multiple programs in the background. that's what the msconfig is for.
