I and my husband tried to conceive between may 14th through 20th I just had a blood test today 0529 to detect pregnancy and it came up negative Could I still be pregnant could my egg fertilize yet?

A blood test does not show pregnancy until at least five days after implantation which is 5-7 days after ovulation so I am afraid you have wasted your money especially if you ovulated at the end of the week 14th-20th.
