My fiancee and I tried to conceive on mon. Today is Thursday and I took a pregnancy test. It came out negative. Can I still be pregnant?

it is possible for a home pregnancy test to detect the pregnancy hormone 8 days after conception. if you test too soon, it could read negative but you may actually be pregnant. it is safer to wait 14 days because after 8 days, the hormone may not be strong enough to detect!
