The same thing happened to me. You will just need to go out there and buy a new needle or pump and needle. The first time it broke for me, but I am able to take it back for a new one because it is not working properly. So, if you are able to, return it or just buy another one.
I un-wound a paper clip and formed it into the shape of a the number "1" with one side being about a 1/4" and the other side being the remainder of the length of the clip. I covered the 1/4" length in super glue and inserted it into the hole where the needle had broken off. I let the glue set for 10 minutes. I was than able to unscrew what was left of the needle using the long end as my handle/leverage point. It worked perfectly and unscrewed in seconds.
^^Thanks! Totally worked, even without the super glue.
Regular air is perfectly acceptable. To fill it, get a bike pump with a small needle that will fit the small black hole on your basketball and pump air through the tube on the system, through the needle and into the basketball until it is inflated as much as you like. You can buy a bike pump/air pump at almost anywhere including walmart or walgreens.
you need a balloon and a needle like a pump needle or a cooking needle. blow the balloon up to the max and use a paperclip to keep the air in the balloon. then cut off the tip of the balloon. afterwards use it to keep the needle in the balloon then put the needle in the ball take the clip off and wait. it might not inflate it all the way up but it will do some good until you get a real pump.
it is hard to remove since the air outside the pump cannot enter or amalgamate witht the air that exists inside the pump.
We used chewed up, almost dried bubble gum to get it out when it happened to us. Good Luck! If the needle is still in the valve, let the air all bleed out and push it through once the ball is flat enough. If the needle has fallen through and is rattling around inside, you'll wreck the ball trying to get it out. Play on--it won't hurt a thing.
An air pump they come with a needle that can stick in the ball (if it doesn't come with one you can pay). Or air compressors sometimes work with a needle for it too
Symptoms of a broken heat pump can vary. They can include a drop in temperature, leaks, and noises.
The air pump is in the left front fender. There is an access panel under the car in front of the front tire. The air pump is easily removed and replaced. Remove the 2 bolts at the bottom and rotate the pump down. Remove the hoses and unplug the sire harness after you have the pump out of the fender.
The air pump (compressor) is located on the driver side fender underneath the air filter box. Once you remove the air filter box, you will have to remove the compressor bolts from inside the wheel well.
