How do you remove a broken air pump needle that has broken off in pump?

The same thing happened to me. You will just need to go out there and buy a new needle or pump and needle. The first time it broke for me, but I am able to take it back for a new one because it is not working properly. So, if you are able to, return it or just buy another one.

∙ 12y agoI un-wound a paper clip and formed it into the shape of a the number "1" with one side being about a 1/4" and the other side being the remainder of the length of the clip. I covered the 1/4" length in super glue and inserted it into the hole where the needle had broken off. I let the glue set for 10 minutes. I was than able to unscrew what was left of the needle using the long end as my handle/leverage point. It worked perfectly and unscrewed in seconds.

To fill it, get a bike pump with a small needle that will fit the small black hole on your basketball and pump air through the tube on the system, through the needle and into the basketball until it is inflated as much as you like. You can buy a bike pump/air pump at almost anywhere including walmart or walgreens.
