there might be something wrong with your carburetor
that has to be a joke!
probably your injector is or fuel filter is clogged.
have your injectors cleaned or replaced.
(there is no carb on a fuel injected engine)
injector problem or tweeking the pump timing may help
The carburetor needs rebuilding.
sounds like vapor lock check to make sure gas line isn't touching motor it will cause it to stall or die then once cool start back up
turn your car on, then unplug the fuel injector circuit one at a time...check to see if the motor shakes after u unplug it... if it does, plug it back in and try another one...if it doesn't shake like the others that's the bad one...
If the problem followed the fuel injector then it is a bad injector. If the problem stayed at the same hole with a different injector then it could be bad wiring.
If look at the motor, there is a steel fuel rail that goes from injector to injector, on the back of the rail there is a port that looks like a valve stem, remove the cap and push the pin in the middle with a nail or something small, but make sure to keep your face clear cause it does spray a ways.
may be an old starter motor, get a decent weight tool, and gently hit the starter motor, then start the car again.
If its diesel, get the gas out. Drain the tank. Fill with diesel. Loosen injector lines. Crank engine. When fuel squirts from injector tighten line. Crank and should start right up. For more information see the answer to the Related Question shown below.
On the back of the compressor.
Starter i located on the back of the engine - between manifold and driveshaft.
to tell what injector is bad when engine is running slowly open the injector line to each injector if the engine stutters then the injector is good if it has no difference then it most likely is bad i had a injector that stayed open completely and you could hear a popping noise because it was pushing air back into the system!! good luck!
